Focus on Societies Dinner & FGS Annual Meeting
Focus on Societies Dinner
This year, to express appreciation for our member societies, FGS will be hosting a complimentary dinner for society leaders in conjunction with our Annual Meeting. The dinner will be held Wednesday, August 21 at 6:00 p.m. at the Omni Shoreham Hotel.
Our new website allows member societies to create accounts for the leaders within their organizations so they can have access to the member-only benefits. To participate in this FGS dinner, you must have an FGS website account as either a delegate, society leader or the main contact for your society.
Parmesan cheese and rustic croutons
Signature Caesar dressing
Pan seared Shenandoah chicken, sweet onion sauce
Seasonal Farm Ragout
Flourless chocolate cake
To register for this event, log into your FGS website account and complete the Focus on Societies Dinner Registration form.
Seating is limited and tickets will be issued on a first come first served basis. If you will be at the conference on Wednesday evening, register now!
If you are a board member for a member society and don't yet have your FGS account login, talk to your organization's FGS contact and have them check out the FGS Website User Guide. If you don't know who that is, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. If your organization isn't a member of FGS, join today and then join us on Wednesday night at the conference for dinner.
Each year at our Annual Conference, FGS also holds its Annual Meeting with its members. We will be sharing the latest FGS activities and we also look forward to hearing the exciting events going on within your societies during our traditional “Society Shout-Out.”
Your society delegate is your representative and votes on behalf of your society at the annual meeting. Please ensure that your delegate designation is up-to-date in your membership account. If you have any questions or need assistance with this, please contact email@example.com. Please note that delegates are entitled to attend the Annual Meeting even if they do not register for the Focus on Societies Dinner.
